The Challenge

Fragmented Data and Diverse Technologies

Modern agriculture faces an increasing challenge: while technology evolves rapidly, many farmers still deal with fragmented systems. Different machines, software, and service providers often operate in isolation, preventing farmers from fully leveraging the data they generate. The result? Missed opportunities for optimisation, wasted time transferring data manually, and unnecessary environmental impact due to inefficiencies.

Kubota recognizes that the future of agriculture cannot be built on closed ecosystems. True progress requires interoperability, openness, and simplicity - so that farmers can make data-driven decisions without technical barriers.

Solution

Kubota Farm Solutions (KFS) is Kubota’s integrated approach to connecting tractors, machines, services, and digital tools through a single, cohesive network. At the heart of this ecosystem lies connectivity - the ability to seamlessly share, analyse, and act on data in real time.

The ecosystem connects key components:

  • Tractors: When equipped with the Tellus 700 or Tellus 1200 Universal Terminals, Kubota tractors serve as the command centre for precision operations, giving farmers next-level control over their ISOBUS implements.
  • Implements: Kubota Sync - an embedded hardware system integrated into Kubota implements - collects performance data directly from the machine.
  • FMIS: This data is then securely transferred to IsoMatch FarmCentre, Kubota’s cloud-based farm management platform, where it’s visualized and analysed to support informed and data-driven decisions.
  • Services & Support: Collected data enables predictive maintenance and off-site diagnostics, supported by Kubota’s Remote Service for efficient support.

Empowering Farmers and Partners

At its core, Kubota’s connected ecosystem is about people. Farmers, dealers, and service partners are no longer just users of equipment - they are part of a collaborative digital network.

Through KFS and AgIN interoperability, Kubota enables:

  • Farmers to make faster, more informed decisions with unified data access.
  • Dealers to deliver proactive, data-based service and support.
  • Partners and developers to contribute new digital tools that expand the ecosystem.

Kubota’s commitment goes beyond technology - it’s about building trust, simplicity, and sustainability into every link of the agricultural value chain.

Benefits

What are the benefits

  • Powered by AgIN (Agricultural Interoperability Network), the system ensures full interoperability across brands, allowing Kubota equipment to integrate seamlessly with other manufacturers’ platforms. This openness empowers farmers to create the most efficient setup for their individual operations - maximising productivity while advancing sustainability.
