Following 10 years of continued innovation in the baler segment, Kubota is further extending its presence in the high-end round baling segment with the introduction of its professional fixed chamber baler, as well as a fully renewed variable chamber range. The BV6000 series aims to advance reliability and serviceability while offering an unrivalled bale density. Further and unique TIM features are applicable, too.
Kubota BV6000 series has been designed to set new standards in efficiency, reliability, serviceability, and user comfort, cutting operational costs, easing the workload, and enhancing productivity.
Broad Offering of New-Generation Variable Chamber Balers
Kubota’s new variable chamber balers are available in two models: the BV6160 (capable of baling up to 1.65m) and the BV6190 (capable of baling up to 1.85m). Each model offers three intake options to suit different crop conditions and applications: The cost-effective EasyFeed, the PowerFeed plain rotor, and the ChopFeed with 15 single-protected knives.
Bale Production at a New Level
A 520 mm large rotor, 2.30 m pickup and the new hydraulic system sets new standards in intake capacity and bale density, while the extremely short binding and tailgate cycle offers maximum output and capacity.
Key features, including the integrated gearbox, greaseable external bearings, large rollers, and a straightforward driveline, enhance reliability and performance. Service time is reduced to a minimum level, thanks to the innovative design of frame and drive line elements, excellent accessibility, minimised dirt deposition, and options such as automatic greasing and working lights.
The proven PowerBind net system, featuring the market’s lowest positioned front-mounted roll, offers fast and consistent net application, along with high operator comfort. New vertical spare roll storage reduces crop build-up and simplifies handling.
The Most Technologically Advanced Baler on the Market
Kubota’s first TIM-level system has already automated key driver tasks—like pausing for binding and bale discharge — cutting the baling sequence from 10 manual operations to just two.
The new BV6000 series can now be equipped with TIM Pack 2.0, offering further major innovations Auto Feed Control, with hydraulic pivoting drawbar and TIM-controlled valves, automatically shifts the baler left or right based on swath indicators. This ensures dense, well-shaped bales and keeps tractor wheels off the forage, preventing contamination.
Auto Blockage Control monitors crop flow and reacts faster than a human to stop the tractor and PTO during blockages. It also simplifies unblocking with a semi-automatic process, minimising downtime.
The BV6000 series supports advanced ISOBUS technology, including Kubota Sync and FarmCenter cloud connectivity for detailed fleet and productivity monitoring.
